However, the pressure sensor works the opposite way, max resistance, max pressure and minimum resistance, lowest pressure and low pressure light on. In the car, when the ignition is switched on, the gauge goes full scale and the light comes on. Once the engine is running, the gauge shows around mid reading and the low pressure light goes out. When the car is revved, the gauge needle moves to the left, all back-to-front.

Is this normal for the Veglia gauges and matching sensors or do I have the wiring incorrect? I cannot see the wiring being wrong, otherwise a short would occur. If this is the case then I need to purchase a sensor specific to the Veglia.
